The tattoos are administered by using a pair of aluminum tattoo pliers in which three digit or alphabet blocks are placed in the pliers. The dogs skin is then pierced befor applying the ink. This is done to make sure the tattoo is free of blemishes. The last step involves me applying the ink into the pierced holes with a swab.
These tattoos are not solid line tattoos, they are dotted line tattoos as in the picture. When a pup is bought, if you would like they can also receive at tattoo with your initials for further identification.
